Following 2012’s triumphant, roof-raising show with a 30 piece string ensemble, Neil Cowley Trio return to the Barbican jumping headlong into new territory to present material from their new recording, Touch and Flee, released in June on Naim Jazz.
Masters of intoxicating and powerfully moving shows, the Neil Cowley Trio deliver muscular anthems alongside delicate passages of heart-shattering beauty. Performing with his long-time compatriots, Evan Jenkins on drums and Rex Horan on bass, this Barbican show promises an utterly compelling experience, and is their only London show in 2014.
